Project 1 :
Establishing a Professional Practice
The objective of this project was to create a professional practice and business from the ground up. As a group, we decided to create an interior design practice that specializes in event planning and design. We explored various site locations local to Lynchburg and decided to locate Forget-Me-Not Event Designs in a vacant yet recently renovated building in Forest. This presentation entails the business creation and launching process.

Project 2 : Marketing Strategy
Next, a marketing strategy was created to help advertise Forget-Me-Not Event Designs. A variety of deliverables were created, including: a services flyer, an event flyer, business cards and social media post templates. Holiday promotions and discounts for students, military personnel and first responders are also a method used to promote the business. Staying active on social media and engaging with customers through customer reviews also contributes to why our marketing strategy was a success.
