FACS 243 : Digital Drafting I
My Work
Presented below are various projects I have spent ample time completing during my time as a student Interior Designer at Liberty University. This page displays specific projects from FACS 243, Digital Drafting I.

In this class specifically, the program AutoCAD was utilized in order to create various floor plans, elevations and designs for each step of the Hawthorne House renovation project.

01
Hawthorne House :
Demo Plan
The first step in renovating the Hawthorne House was to create a demolition plan. This was created by following a simple guideline provided by the instructor and applying to AutoCAD.
02
Hawthorne House :
Construction Plan
The second step of the Hawthorne House renovation project was to create a construction plan. This included the added walls, rearranged cabinetry, and added furniture. AutoCAD was used in order to create a realistic perspective on what this stage would look like.

03
Hawthorne House :
Cabinet Elevations
The cabinet elevations were the third step in the Hawthorne House project. Using AutoCAD, elevations were made based on the desired cabinetry style which was white wood with a shaker panel and black hardware. Elevation tags were added as labels and to show the scale.
04
Hawthorne House :
Cabinet Details Plan
The Cabinet Details plan shows the specific design and aspect of the cabinetry. Included in the description is the solid white wood doors, adjustable pull-out shelves and marble countertops. These outlines were created in AutoCAD.

05
Hawthorne House :
Exterior Wall Type
Lastly, the exterior wall was created in AutoCAD from the perspective of splitting the wall in half. Types of material and dimensions are also included.
